SVUSD has adopted a new English Language Curriculum called Benchmark Advance! ALL SVUSD Elementary schools will be following this new program beginning this year. Our teachers have been working hard learning how to integrate this program into the classrooms! The program is designed to allow reading, writing, phonics, and language studies to work together with subject studies such as science, history, technology, and economics. Every three weeks your student’s class will switch subject topics while continuing to focus on English Language Standards.
