PTA Meeting – Thursday, September 2nd, 6:30PM via zoom
The first PTA meeting of the year is coming up and it will be on ZOOM. It’s also on a Dine & Donate night. So pickup some pizza for the family at Sal’s Pizzeria in Lake Forest, get into comfy loungewear, and log into the meeting.
For those who are not familiar with PTA Meetings, at the beginning of our meetings, we always need to give financial reports and conduct votes on official business in order to maintain our nonprofit 501c3 status. We try to get through this quickly, but we ask that you are patient as we go through all the motions to make sure we remain transparent to the association.
A zoom link will be sent on Thursday morning via Bloomz. You will need to register for the meeting, which will take about 1 minute, and then be given a direct link to the meeting. We recommend registering early.

If you joined the PTA by sending your membership form and payment through the front office, there has been a delay in processing the forms. We did not receive them until Tuesday afternoon and we can’t get them all entered into the system before the Thursday meeting. We will have a paper list of all members, so even if you dropped off your form and payment at school, your vote will be counted at the meeting.
RAISE Craze Note: As we’re sorting through all the paperwork tuned into the front office and submitted online through Totem, we see that several families made an additional donation to Santiago Elementary PTA. All additional donations submitted through the Raise Craze fundraising period will count towards prizes and incentives. This may take us a little longer at the end to assign prizes and do calculations, but we believe all donations should count.
