Today we’re checking in on the community. This is the last week of Raise Craze, The Kindness Challenge, and we hope everyone works together to make our community cleaner and kinder. Donate a few hours this weekend to help out on one of the many cleanup projects happening locally this weekend.
We’re highlighting two very important events that can help build local connections and benefit not only our families, but our neighbors. Saturday, September 18th is the Clean Lake Forest, National Day of Clean-Up Event, and the California Coastal Cleanup Day. Both have tools to help you clean up and demonstrate the importance of paying kindness forward to help the Earth and your community.
We already have volunteers from our school going to both events. For Clean Lake Forest, we recommend entering “Santiago PTA” as your group, and choosing “Serrano Creek Park” as your site when registering. If you register for the California Coastal Cleanup Day, some people are choosing Trabuco Canyon site, but they do fill up based on how many people register, and there is a full list of sites .
