– After School Garden Club: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2:50 – meet at the lunch tables behind school. Kids and their adult(s) are invited to take part as we learn about a garden-related topic and apply it to Santiago! Please bring a small, healthy after-school snack to eat before the session, and your reusable water bottle.

– Straw Bales:Thanks to the PTA’s Fall Festival volunteers we have SO MUCH STRAW! Now we need help moving and/or spreading it – can you pop in and help? At your convenience! Simply reply to this email for easy instructions on where it will all go.
– STEAM GREEN Recycling Volunteer(s) Needed:This month we’re recycling coffee capsules, and coming soon are monthly drives for batteries, sneakers, bikes, and more! They’re simple to do, can you help for one or all?
We’re so impressed by the progress made so far this year, and can’t wait to see what more we can accomplish. Ideas are welcome: If you see a need you can help fill please jump in! We can also use more help with the STEAM GREEN speaker series, bottle recycling, woodworking, and more.
