Santiago’s Not All Heroes Wear Capes Jogathon is Friday April 28th. Runtimes are below and family is allowed on the field to watch, cheer, and volunteer.
Students who receive donations of $100 will watch a movie with the Principal. For both upper and lower grades, Top earning classrooms will earn Pizza Parties and 2nd place classrooms earn Extra Recess! Raffle drawings will be held for top prizes, and your student can earn a raffle ticket just by registering online. Details on other prizes and raffle ticket levels are on pledgestar.
At this time we have raised just over $5,000. For lower graders, Von Lufts class is in the lead, with Escutia and Scanlon close behind. For upper graders, Burdettes class is in the lead with Menke and Connair catching up. watch the leaderboard on pledgestar.
Here’s what to do:
1) Register your students at www.pledgestar.com/santiago
2) Donate or Send Requests to Family & Friends
3) On April 28th, wear a shirt representing your favorite Superhero (no costumes or accessories). If you don’t have a superhero shirt, wear the color designated for your grade level below.
4) Family is welcome on the Field during Jogathon to cheer and volunteer! We will need parents to help us mark laps! See the signups on Bloomz to volunteer!
5) All Donations are due by Friday, May 5th to count toward prizes. Be sure to check that you hit your goal per runner, as family donations are divided among siblings.
Runtimes – when your students will be on the field:
10:25 – 10:50 am – 1st Grade – red
10:55 – 11:20 am – 2nd Grade – blue
11:25 – 11:50 am – 4th Grade – orange
11:55 – 12:20 pm – 5th Grade – green
12:25 – 12:50 pm – 3rd Grade – purple
1:00 – 1:25 pm – 6th Grade – yellow
1:30 – 1:55 pm – Kinder – black
